Wye Park

Wye Park is a public boat ramp providing access to Lake Wallula, the reservoir formed behind McNary Dam on the Columbia River near Richland. The facility features a concrete launch ramp and restrooms, making it a functional access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters. This location is part of Columbia Park, a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recreation area that is open year-round and does not require reservations.

Lake Wallula is a large, relatively calm reservoir extending from McNary Dam upstream to Priest Rapids Dam on the Columbia River. Paddlers can expect flatwater conditions suitable for kayaking and canoeing, though conditions can be influenced by dam operations and seasonal water level changes.
