The Ripplemead takeout is on river left not far past the Walker Creek confluence. Boat ramp, ample parking, and a pit toilet. From the flashing yellow in Pembroke, take 460 west, cross the bridge over the New, take the Ripplemead exit, and turn right at the end of the ramp. Follow the road as it curves back under the bridge and upstream to the ramp.
