Description
The Borde Rapids feature a technical sequence of boulder-choked drops and powerful diagonal waves that demand precise boat positioning and quick maneuvering. Paddlers must navigate a tight entrance with a prominent center rock and watch for a recirculating hole on the river right that can easily trap boats during higher water levels. The rapid requires a strong left-to-right move to avoid potential pin hazards and maintain momentum through the more challenging middle section.
