Description

This access point is located on river right a short distance downstream of the Roaring River confluence. American Whitewater worked to formalize this site as a condition of the Clackamas Hydroelectric Project. The facility was developed and is maintained by Portland General Electric as a condition of their hydropower license. This access has a restroom facility and a good launch with raft slide. If the raft slide and launch area is congested, kayaks have the option of hiking a short trail at the downstream end of the site (near the entrance) to access an alternate launch site. USGS River Mile 43.5.
