Keyhole is a technical Class III+ rapid characterized by a tight, boulder-strewn channel that requires precise boat positioning and quick maneuvering. Paddlers must navigate a series of sharp rocks and potential hydraulics, with the crux move involving a narrow, angled slot between two large midstream boulders that can create challenging recirculating features at certain water levels.
