Description
Lunchbox Rapid is a technical Class III+ drop with a complex boulder garden that demands precise maneuvering between tight rock formations. Paddlers must navigate a series of powerful hydraulics and pick a clean line through the center-right channel, avoiding several potentially retentive holes and exposed rocks that can easily flip or pin a boat. Scout from the right bank if water levels are above medium to assess current conditions and identify the most stable route through the rapid.
