Description

Long rapid at the mouth of Imperial Canyon with big waves at the bottom. The rapid came and went as reservoir levels fluctuated throughout the 1980's and 1990's. It is the first place where significant reservoir deposits are observed, known as the Dominy Formation, and the transition to the Returned Rapids area.
