Located at the mouth of the Peshtigo River in Peshtigo, this small public boat launch provides convenient access to both the river and Green Bay. The site features a modest ramp with a rugged beach area to the south and west, offering scenic views of the bay and good opportunities for bird watching. From Highway 41, take the Peshtigo exit near Schacht Road and head into town, then turn south on County Road B (East Front Street) to reach the access point.
This landing serves as an excellent put-in or take-out for paddlers exploring the lower Peshtigo River. The river section between Johnson Falls Dam and Spring Rapids contains Class I and II rapids and is maintained as a trout fishery, so expect to see anglers wading in the water. Parking is available at the site and along nearby angler access roads on state forest property, making it a practical base for day trips on both the river and bay.
