Located at the mouth of the Peshtigo River in Marinette, this small boat launch provides excellent access to both the river and Green Bay. The ramp is situated within the Peshtigo Harbor State Wildlife Area, making it a great jumping-off point for paddlers and boaters exploring the lower river and bay. To reach the site, take the Peshtigo exit off Highway 41, head into town, and follow Front Street south to Hale Road, then continue on Harbor Road to the access area on the south side of the river.
The launch area features a modest beach with scenic views across the bay and good opportunities for wildlife observation. This location works well for kayakers and canoeists looking to explore either the Peshtigo River downstream or paddle out into Green Bay's protected waters. Parking is available at the site, though space may be limited during busy periods. The area is part of a wildlife management area, so be aware of any seasonal restrictions or regulations that may apply.
