Located in Yakima, Washington, Roza Recreational Site offers a concrete boat ramp providing convenient access to the Yakima River for kayakers, canoeists, rafters, and other small watercraft. The ramp is well-maintained and wide enough to accommodate small boats. Six accessible parking spaces are available throughout the lot, and the site includes camping areas with some grassy, treed spaces for exploration.
**Important boating restrictions apply:** Motorized boats are only permitted between the Roza Ramp and Roza Dam. The site has limited amenities—there is no potable water or hookup services, and cell phone coverage is unreliable. Paddlers launching here will encounter the scenic Yakima River Canyon, where the river winds gently through rolling desert hills and impressive basalt cliffs that rise over 2,000 feet. The setting provides excellent opportunities for paddling and fishing in a visually striking landscape.
