Description
Auger Falls is an extremely dangerous Class VI rapid with massive, unrunnable hydraulics and a near-vertical drop that creates a terminal recirculating hole. The entire river funnels through a narrow, rock-choked channel with no viable lines, making portage the only safe option for survival. Experienced paddlers universally recognize this section as a critical safety hazard that demands absolute respect and careful scouting.
