Description
Austin Falls is a technical and consequential Class V rapid featuring a steep, boulder-strewn descent with multiple mandatory moves through a narrow constriction. Paddlers must navigate a series of powerful holes and undercut rocks, with a critical line along the right side that requires precise boat control and quick maneuvering to avoid potentially fatal hydraulics. Scouting is strongly recommended, and rescue access is limited due to the rugged terrain surrounding the drop.
