Description
Barking Dog Ledge features a technical drop with a prominent river-center ledge that creates a challenging hydraulic at medium to high water levels. Paddlers should scout the drop and aim for a clean line along the right side, avoiding the powerful recirculating hole that can develop in the center of the ledge. At higher flows, the rapid demands precise boat control and can quickly flip inexperienced paddlers.
