Description
Bogus is a straightforward Class II rapid on the North Umpqua with a relatively clean channel and moderate gradient. Paddlers should be prepared to navigate a series of small boulder garden features near the center and right side of the river, with the primary line running left of center to avoid potential pin hazards. Good boat control and reading water skills are recommended to successfully navigate this section without complications.
