Description
Frogger III is a technical Class III rapid characterized by a series of closely spaced boulders creating complex threading routes and potential pin hazards. Paddlers must navigate a tight center channel with several sharp turns, avoiding undercut rocks on river right and a powerful hydraulic near the bottom of the rapid. Precise boat control and quick decision-making are essential to successfully running this section of the Umpqua's North Fork.
