Description
Deep Eddy Pool is a calm, wide section of the river offering a brief respite between more challenging rapids in the Steven's Gulch section of the Cache La Poudre. While not a technical rapid, the pool provides an important recovery and regrouping zone for paddlers, with relatively smooth water and minimal hazards. Boaters should maintain situational awareness and use this section to prepare for the downstream whitewater challenges.
