Description
A large island abruptly diverts the flow ... 90-degrees left (less desirable, more prone to scraping and deadfall), 90-degrees right (preferred/shorter path). When currents rejoin, some smaller islands ensue.
This part of the river can give some eddy work and river reading practice for beginners.
