Description

A technical Class III rapid with a complex entry marked by a series of diagonal waves and a sharp midstream boulder requiring precise boat positioning. The primary line runs along the river right, avoiding a recirculating hole at the bottom of the drop that can create challenging hydraulic conditions during high water. Paddlers should scout this rapid from the right bank and be prepared for quick maneuvering to maintain momentum through the narrow, boulder-strewn channel.
