Description

Wallslammer rapid starts just past the end of the hanging bridge and passes underneath the Royal Gorge bridge

The Royal Gorge bridge is currently the highest bridge in America and the 26th highest bridge in the world standing at 956ft above the arkansas river below. The bridge started construction in June 1929 and finished and opened to the public just 7 months after in December 1929.

(info from 2200)  Start center missing the hole near the top, hold a bow left angle and try to use the laterals coming from right shore to help push you from the wall. There is a hole known as the vortex that is formed from the right shore and is notorious for grabbing boats and slamming them into the wall, enter where the rapid gets its name sake. One past just run along center to center right keeping away from the right wall (the laterals will do their best to push you into it.
