Description
For a slightly longer trip (and/or if chasing gear after someone swims and 'has a total yard sale'), the next reasonable takeout is in Colonial Park.
Take-out at the bridge (Root River Pathway), head north and east to the parking lot.
This will be a shuttle of 1.8 miles to get back up to the dam.
