Description

Big Falls is an extremely technical and consequential Class V+ drop with a narrow, technical entry leading to a powerful 15-foot vertical waterfall with severe hydraulic recirculation at its base. Paddlers must execute a precise line with minimal margin for error, navigating between undercut rock walls and avoiding a massive hole that can hold boats and swimmers; a mandatory portage is recommended for most skill levels due to the high risk of severe injury or drowning.
