Description
A railroad bridge crosses just below, with many bridge-piers in the water. At high flows (when the Appleton gauge is above 10,000 cfs) you should take a good look here before putting on, since clearance under this bridge can get a bit 'iffy'.
You will also see signs warning of the dam downstream.
