About This Access Site
**Location & Access:**
Flat Rock Park is located in Kerrville on FM 2632, just north of the FM 2632/3021 junction on the south side of the Guadalupe River. The site offers a boat ramp for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorboats, with ample parking for 68+ vehicles. Note that a launch permit is required. Porta-potties are available near the park entrance.

**Conditions & Considerations:**
The boat ramp at Flat Rock Park is notably steep, so exercise caution when water levels are five feet or lower, as launching may be difficult or unsafe during low water periods. This is a popular local spot offering good access to a beautiful stretch of the Guadalupe River, with additional amenities including picnic areas, a playground, walking trails, and an off-leash dog park. The park is spacious and well-suited for paddling, tubing, and water activities.
