Riverside Park offers a well-maintained concrete boat ramp with wooden dock access to a scenic stretch of the Guadalupe River. This location serves as an excellent put-in point for paddlers exploring the quieter, slower-moving sections of the river in the Victoria area.
From Riverside Park, paddlers can access the popular 4.25-mile Riverside Park Section, which typically takes 1-3 hours to complete and features views of river bluffs and sandbars. The route offers a pleasant day paddle with a takeout point near the old water plant/pump house downstream. Note that there is no shuttle service available, so plan accordingly by positioning vehicles at both access points before paddling.
