Description

Wide shot under the old forge bridge clearly showing the placement of the I-beams. Hurricane Irene moved the river a hundred feet or so to the right, destroying the bridge and burying this former hazard. Nice squirt line on river left. This is the end of the class 3 section.
Pull out on river right just below the bridge or go down to 9w or the Hudson.
