About This Access Site

Gills is a public boat ramp and carry-in access point on the Wolf River in Weyauwega, Waupaca County. The site offers both traditional boat launch facilities and a dedicated kayak launch located near Gill's Landing bar. A Waupaca County boat launch permit is required to use this site; the same permit is valid at Shaws Landing and several other county water accesses. Free parking is available on-site, along with seasonal bathroom facilities and picnic tables.

This Wolf River access point is well-suited for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorboats looking to paddle or launch in the Weyauwega area. The site's convenient location on the Wolf River—a popular paddling destination in northeast Wisconsin—makes it a good put-in for day trips and paddling routes.
