**Location & Access:**
Chinook Park is a Josephine County day-use facility located in Grants Pass along the Rogue River. From I-5 North, take Exit 48, then head left on Depot Street and right on Rogue River Highway/OR-99 for approximately 5 miles to reach the park.
**Facilities & Amenities:**
This 67-acre marine park features a six-lane public boat ramp suitable for launching various watercraft, along with picnic areas, ample parking, vault toilets, a fishing platform, and sandy beach access. Day-use parking requires a $5 fee. The park is open sunrise to sunset and provides a solid base for boating, rafting, and fishing activities on the Rogue River. The site also includes interpretive signage about local wetlands and connects to recreational trail systems in the area.
**Important Note:**
Be aware that fire closure orders may be in effect for portions of the Lower Rogue River corridor. Check current conditions and fire advisories with the U.S. Forest Service before planning your trip to ensure river access is available in your intended paddling area.
