About This Access Site

Ennis Riffle provides a concrete boat ramp approximately 20 feet wide for access to the Rogue River near Galice in Josephine County. This BLM-maintained facility is a popular put-in and take-out point for kayakers and canoeists exploring the scenic Rogue River, including the Wild & Scenic River section. Day-use amenities include the boat ramp and a vault toilet. The site serves as a convenient access point for the lower Rogue River, a well-known fishing destination.

This location is ideal for paddlers planning trips on the Rogue River within the Rogue Wild & Scenic River area, which encompasses over 35,000 acres of protected wilderness. The surrounding area offers additional recreation opportunities, including the scenic Galice-Hellgate Back Country Byway and various hiking trails.
